Google Pixel 5: Here Are Some Features We Want To See

Google Pixel 4 is one of the most hyped phones of 2019. Recently Apple has launched iPhone 11 and on the other hand, Samsung is selling its latest Note 10 and Note 10 plus so obviously there was a great competition in the market. Even under these conditions, Google Pixel 4 is in the spotlight.

After the release of Pixel 4 that is one of the best flagship phones of 2019, Technophiles are really interested in knowing the possible improvements as well as features that lacked in Pixel 4. There are some little things that can make Google’s Pixel 5 game really strong in the world of iPhones and Galaxy. If Google will focus on some minors details, it will make Google’s Pixel 5 next big thing in the world of smart gadgets. A few things that must be consider while designing Pixel 5 are explained below:

1. Improved Battery Life:

One of the important things which everyone wants in their cell phones is good battery life. If Google is really interested in the future of its smartphones it must have to put efforts into improving the battery life of the flagship device, Pixel 5.

The size of the battery of Google’s Pixel 4 has been shrunk to 2800 mAh while its previous model Pixel 3’s battery size was 2915 mAh. The run time of Google’s Pixel 4 is only 8 hours that is not according to standards as well as the need of people.

While the battery size of Google Pixel 4 XL is 3700 mAh which has been improved from its previous model. The run time of Google Pixel 4XL is 9 hours 42 minutes.

On the other hand, iPhone 11’s battery life is 11 hours 16 minutes and Galaxy S10 Plus has a battery life of 12 hours 35 minutes.

All these facts are really disturbing as Google seriously needs to work on the improvement of battery life. If Google Pixel 5 wants to be the competitor of the iPhone 12, improved battery is a need indeed.

2. Brighter Display:

The display of Pixel 4 is one of the best among other high-end phones. The most favorite thing about the Pixel 4 is 90Hz refresh rate. This is very important and great features for gaming purposes too. It is much better than iPhone 11’s refresh rate that is 60HZ.

For brightness, the iPhone 11 is 625 nits, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are 800 nits. On the other hand, Pixel 4 is 445 nits. Pixel 4 is about 250 nits dimmer than Galaxy Note 10. More the nits brighter the screen. In sunlight device like Pixel 4 causes serious trouble because it is difficult to read anything from the screen. Google should increase the nits in Pixel 5 so that it becomes feasible for the user to use cellphones even in scorching sunlight.

3. 128 GB Storage:

Nowadays most of the middle end, as well as high ends phones, have made 128 GB storage a standard. Samsung, Huawei, LG and OnePlus offer the phone with the storage of 128 GB mostly. While on the other hand Google as well as Apple show greediness and sell their phones according to storage. It is not a good approach. Storage is really important in smartphones these days. So we hope that Google will release Pixel 5 in 128 GB storage.

4. Ultra-Wide Lens:

Pixel 4 has a dual-lens camera on the back. The main lens is 12MP while the other one is the 16MP telephoto lens. The second lens has some DSLR like capabilities. Motion mode helps you to capture fast-moving things without affecting the quality of the video. Although the quality of pictures captured by  Pixel 4 is very great if Google wants to be in the race of high-end phone a wide lens camera is a must.

It is merely the demand of masses to capture the landscapes with a wider lens. So to provide the best camera this feature must be included in pixel 5.  Apple and Samsung both have Ultra-wide lenses so it’s the time Google needs to show a wider lens in the upcoming model that is Pixel 5.

5. More RAM:

Ram of Google’s Pixel 4 is 6 GB that is quite good but these days most flagship mobile phones have an 8 GB RAM.the users want a smooth gaming experience and an overall perfect experience when they are paying $800. It is a lot of money so users do not want to settle for less. So an 8 GB RAM will keep the Google Pixel’s game up.

6. 5G:

In the coming year 2020 5G will be available in most of the devices so we are hoping Google’s Pixel 5 will also be introducing the 5G. As it is rumored that Apple will also introduce 5G on iPhone 12, so Pixel 5 will be its competitor so it should also contain 5G.

7. Better Design:

Google Pixel 4 is a decent phone but when we compare its design with Samsung Note 10 and iPhone 11 pro it seems a bit inferior in a matter of design. Google needs to keep its game up in this field. People want to see a unique design with beautiful and decent colors. Google can literally create an amazing design if they have set the design as one of a major goal.
