According to a report published by Express, the laptop is powered by Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. Its primary highlight is that the laptop is merely 8.98mm thick. “We’re extremely proud to make the world’s thinnest laptop even thinner with the new Swift 7,” said Jerry Kao, President of IT Products Business of Acer Inc. “Building on the engineering breakthroughs from the previous generation, the new Swift 7 steps up the game with an even slimmer chassis, powerful performance and always-on 4G LTE connectivity for professionals on the go.”

Apart from being ultra slim, the laptop comes packed with power. The Acer Swift 7 runs on the seventh generation Intel Core TM i7 processor. On the storage front, it offers 256GB of inbuilt storage along with 8GB of RAM.

The company claims the laptop’s battery power to be pretty sufficient as well. They state that the Swift 7 can deliver up to 10 hours of battery life. In addition to this, the laptop comes featured with an in-built XMM 4G LTE connectivity. In other words, users can remain online 24/7. On the display front, the laptop features a 14-inch Full HD display.

Apart from this, it also packs fingerprint scanner for added security and a backlit keyboard. “The next PC anyone buys should be a great PC – powerful to feed the newest, richest experiences all day long,” said Chris Walker, Vice President of Intel Corp. “Acer’s Swift 7 delivers on the performance expectation then ups the ante with built-in 4G LTE in an ultra-thin, stunning design. It’s the perfect PC for those who have things to do and create anywhere, at any time.”
