Microsoft to launched entry-level Surface Go

Microsoft Surface Go has revealed about the latest member which is in the Surface 2 in 1 lineup. This Surface Go promises to offer the full blown Surface experience which is on a budget. The company is now eyeing the low-end of the personal computing market which comes with a smaller and cheaper Surface Go tablet, and it takes on Apple Inc’s cheapest iPads.

This device price is fixed at $399, and the device is $400 cheaper than the current Surface Pro tablet, and it has got slower Intel Corp. Processors. It also has 4 hours less battery life, as said by the Microsoft. The new Surface Go weighs about 1.5 pounds, and it is far lighter than existing Surface products. It will go on sale from August 2nd, 2018 and it will come with Wi-Fi connectivity.

This Surface Go will be working with optional Keyboards and mouses. Microsoft has announced that the cheaper versions of both accessories on Monday and for the very first time on Microsoft hardware, the Go will be using the USB-C charging standard. This new tablet will come in multiple configurations, and it includes 64,128 and 256-gigabyte storage options, and it is 4 or 8 gigabytes of RAM. The price of the Surface Goes range from $399 to $549.

The Surface Go has got the pixel density multi-touch display, and thick bezels surround it. The thickness is just about 1.15 pounds and 8.3 mm thin, and this is going to be Surface Go is said to be the company’s smallest and lightest computer. The Surface Go will be powered by Intel’s 7th generation Pentium Gold 4415Y processor. Surface Go will also be available in about Wi-Fi configuration, and LTE variants of the Surface Go will come to the market in future.
