Google announces new material design for Chrome browser

The most popular internet browser, Google Chrome is set to have a new look. Google has now going to upgrade the Chrome so that it will make it faster and it will be more secure than in previous years. The company has been testing this material design interface on Chrome for some time. The changes are usually seen in the Google Chrome Canary branch. The changes in the UI are said to be more than just aesthetic improvements, and Material UI design will ensure that it will be a more user-friendly interface.

The look of the Google Chrome always looks the same as it is during the launch time. Currently, Google has already revamped the Android user interface after the Android KitKat, and it followed the Material Design concept which is from Android Lollipop.

In the past few months, the internet search giant Google has been giving hints at bringing the Material Design overhaul. They have got the better idea of what this will finally look like. The company has got even closer to the updating the browser’s UI, and it will be rolling out the update for the same on Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS.

They are not bringing this to the operating system, but Google has been bringing the material design to other apps which includes Google+, Gmail, and many more apps. This thing is visually appealing to all the user, and it is like a breath of fresh air, and you can see a clean and modern user interface.

The address bar is now getting the new design overall, and the ends of the address bar are said to be rounded rather than the rectangular shape. The Tabs will have the rounded appearance which looks like different from the trapezoidal shape which was present in it. The other changes that are present are single tab mode, Omnibox suggestion icon, pinned tabs, tab strip colouring and alert indicators.

According to the Francois Beaufort on Google+, he said that the browser UI for the Chrome OS, Linux and Windows who have got a material Design mode refresh in Canary channel and there are also a plenty of things which have been updated for better use like single tab mode, tab shape, tab strip coloring, pinned tabs, alert indicators and Omnibox suggestion icons.

Till now there is no an official word on this for the public release of the new look.
