Fitbit brings Iconic, Flyer and Aria 2 to India

After realizing the potential that India holds for its sales, smart wearable manufacturer Fitbit has finally decided to bring its line-up to the market. Early on Thursday, 18th January 2018 Fitbit announced the availability of three of its latest smart wearables – including Fitbit Iconic, Fitbit Flyer (wireless headphones) and Fitbit Aria 2 (Wi-Fi Smart Scale) in the Indian market.

As for the pricing, the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch comes for a price of Rs 22,990, the Fitbit Flyer is available for a price of Rs 9,990 and the Fitbit Aria 2 comes for a price of Rs 9,990. The Fitbit products are expected to be available for sale, starting February 2018 across leading retail stores including Reliance Digital, Croma as well as Helios.

According to a report published by Gadgets 360, the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch packs numerous exciting features including heart-rate tracking, 50-meter water resistance capability, Fitbit Pay as well as GPS functionality. The smartwatch runs on the Fitbit OS and provides several other options like music, smart notifications, access to applications as well as clock faces. The smartwatch claims a battery life of up to 5 days, with automatic activity and sleep tracking features.

Coming to its Flyer wireless headphones, they come with the sweat-proof ability and music/call control options. The company claims that the headphones have a battery life of over six hours on a single charge, and sports passive noise isolation for an immersive audio experience. Additionally, the Flyer headphones also come with support for quick-charge, multi-device connectivity and compatibility with other Fitbit products.

Lastly, the Fitbit (Wi-Fi) smart-scale – which is available in Black and White color variants – allows individuals to measure their body composition – be it lean mass, BMI, body fat percentage or weight. The device extends support for Bluetooth connectivity and stats sync options as well.
