The device runs on the freshly-announced, eighth-generation Intel Core CPUs. It further comes with integrated Radeon RX Vega M graphics card provided by AMD on the same chip. According to the information released by Dell, due to the power provided by Intel and AMD, they have been successful at shrinking the size of the motherboard by about fifty percent.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Dell XPS 15 2-in-1 laptop comes packed with a full HD 4K UDH display resolution. The screen option is available in terms of 100 percent RGB color gamut. Furthermore, the device is only merely 16mm in height and the company claims that it can deliver up to 15 hours of battery life.

The laptop further goes on to support Dell’s Active Pen stylus along with magnets that are built into the stylus to enhance the experience of the user. The laptop is supported by a whole new type of MagLev keyboard, which through the use of magnets, can provide a tactile feedback. “Dell claims that the XPS 15 is the thinnest and smallest 15.6-inch 2-in-1 ever made. It will become available from April in the US, priced starting $1,299 (roughly Rs. 82,700),” reports Gadgets 360.

The company went a step forward and announced their partnership with actress Nikki Reed, who will be unveiling a new jewelry line using gold taken out of the technology. This is Dell’s attempt at sustainable technology, as only around 12.5 percent of the metals used in products across the industry are brought back, claims the report by Gadgets 360.
