In 2019, Dell and Google announced two enterprise-class Chromebooks. Both system provided additional organizational and security features intended for business use. Now, the pair of companies have let us in on the next generation. Meet this Dell Latitude 7410 Chromebook Enterprise.

The Latitude 7410 is the first Chromebook that comes in both 2-in-1 and laptop configurations. Customers have a choice between a greyish machined aluminum finish or a black lightweight carbon fiber-type material. On the surface, this looks like any other business-oriented computer.

Prior versions used an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU, but the Latitude 7410 comes with the ’10th’-generation Intel Core i7. It is important to remember, however, that Intel never released a 10th generation chip. They instead released a refresh of it’s 9th generation hardware and basically just lied about the generational uptick. For some reason, the 7410 offers up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM which is less than last years model.

Google and Dell say that the 7410 has the longest battery life of any 10th Gen Intel Chromebook or any 2-in-1 Chromebook at 21 hours of battery life. The charging system in this laptop is pretty advanced. They are calling it ‘ExpressCharge,’ which gives you 80 percent battery on a one hour charge, while 20 minutes nets you 35 percent.

We don’t know when this thing is coming out or how much it’s gonna cost, but when we find out you’ll be the first one to know.
