Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite will launch on 24 July
Xiaomi has now confirmed that the successor to the Mi A1 will soon be coming to India and it is now widely rumored that this launch will also see a second variant of this new smartphone at its global launch event. The company has now confirmed that it will be launching two Android One smartphones at the global launch event in Spain and it will be taking place on 24th July 2018. This confirms that the Xiaomi will be launching Mi A1’s successor and it will continue the legacy to be a part of the Google’s Android One.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has already been gone up for sale with the help of the third party e-commerce listing ahead of the official launch. This new development has come ahead of the formal launch of the Mi A2, and it is likely to accompany to the lighter and cheaper version, and it was expected to get a debut in Spain on 24th July 2018. This new Lite version will go on for sale on China’s Ali Express in two variants which comes with 3GB RAM+32GB Storage and 4GB RAM +64GB storage. Both the smartphone has got the price tag of Rs 13,000 and Rs 14,400 respectively.
The teaser that the company has revealed about the new smartphone does not show any kind of details in it. In the teaser, we can see that the smartphones have got vertically aligned dual rear camera system and thus it has confirmed about the alignment of the camera. Mi A2 will have a 12MP+20MP camera sensor with an af/1.5 aperture which comes with a LED flash module. When the selfie camera discussed, it would have a 20MP camera sensor which comes with artificial intelligence capabilities, and it includes an AI portrait mode. The Mi A2 Lite will get a 12MP+5Mp dual camera setup, and it will have a 5Mp front shooter.
The processor of the Mi A2 will have a Snapdragon 660 chipset, and a 4GB RAM will accompany it and the, storage limit may be of 128 GB internal storage. This handset will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo-out-of-the-box. The screen will have a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, and it comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9. MI A2 Lite will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC and will have 4GB RAM and will have a storage capacity of 64GB and is expandable up to 256GB. The screen will have a 5.84-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio about 19:9.
