Xiaomi Mi A2, A2 Lite to get launch in India on 8th August
Xiaomi has already launched its new Mi A2, A2 Lite in the recent global event held in Spain. This new event was held to focus on Europe, but the company has revealed that the Mi A2 will soon be launched in India which will be on 8th August 2018. The company added by saying that the Mi A2 Lite will not be hitting the Indian market.
These two new smartphones will be running on stock Android 8.1 Oreo. These phones will have the vertically aligned dual rear cameras along with the battery optimizations which the company has claimed that the charge will be remaining on the phone for about one day. These phones will get the updates for the software timely. Xiaomi Mi A2 is said to be the successor of the last year launched mi A1 in India.
Xiaomi Mi A2 will get a 5.99-inch display which will have an aspect ratio of about 18:9. The phone will have a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass to protect the screen from cracking. The phone will support Dual-SIM Nano sims. It will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC which comes with 4 2.2 GHz Kyro 260 cores + 4 1.8GHz Kyro 260 cores along with Adreno 512 GPU. It will have a 6GB LPDDR4x dual channel RAM which will be of 128 GB internal storage variant.
When it comes to the camera of the smartphone, it will come with Ai integration for the improved photos. The Mi A2 Ai selfie Camera has got a 20 MP SIny IMX376 sensor which will come with f/1.75aperture along with fixed focal length with soft LED flash. The rear camera will have a 12MP primary Sony IMX486 sensor and a 20MP secondary Sony IMX376 sensor along with phase detection autofocus. It will have a capacity of 3010mAh.
Mi A2 Lite will be coming with a 5.84-inch full HD+ display which will have an aspect ratio of about 19:9. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC which will be paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM options. It will also feature a 32 GB or 64GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot that can be expanded till 256GB storage.
When it comes to the camera setup, the smartphone will get a 12MP primary sensor with PDAF along with a 5MP secondary camera. It will have a 5MP front camera sensor with AI recognition features. The phone will have a battery capacity of about 4000mAh.
