Xiaomi Mi 8 will soon come to international market: Report

On June 5, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturing company launched its new smartphones the Mi 8 and Mi8 SE in its hometown. Later, the company launched the Mi 8 in Russia and France. Now, Xiaomi has officially confirmed it that the Mi 8 would be soon launched in the more international market and the process with begin from July. As per the report, the product marketing director for mobile phone, Xiaomi, Xiao Zhiyuan has informed that The Mi 8 will enter the global market very soon. After the announcement, it is now expected the Mi 8 may enter India in July, and Xiaomi knows that India is one of the biggest markets of the Company. It will not miss the chance. However, Zhiyuna has not stated anything about the global availability of the Mi 8 SE.

On the other side, Xiaomi also achieved remarkable sales in China as till now it has managed to sell around 1million unit of the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi 8 Explorer Edition only in China. The company achieved the target in just 18 days. It may be noted that all the smartphones went on sale on 5th June in China. If compare with OnePlus, the company took 22 days to sold 1 million units of the OnePlus 6.

About the specifications of the Mi 8, the smartphone has a 6.21-inch Super AMOLED display which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Level 5. With 83.8% of screen-to-body ratio, the device supports FullHD+ resolution, i.e., 1080 x 2248 pixels of screen resolution. The pixel density is 402PPI. On the top of the display, there is a notch like the Redmi Note 5 Pro and iPhone X.

The device is powered by the latest Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with Kryo 385 CPU. It also has an Adreno 630 graphics processing unit. The Mi 8 supports 3D facial recognition technology. With 6GB of RAM, there will be three different in-built storage options, i.e., 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage. But the Mi 8 EE comes with an 8GB RAM an offers 128 GB of internal storage capacity. On the rear side, the Mi 8 carries a dual 12MP rear cameras setup which is supported by a LED flash and features dual-pixel PDAF, OIS and more. On the front users will get a 20MP camera with portrait lighting effect. Backed by a 3400mAh battery, it works on Android 8.1 Oreo and MIUI 10.

On the other side, the Mi 8 SE has a 5.88-inch Super AMOLED display and powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC. It has a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera and a 20MP front camera. With 4GB and 6GB RAM, it offers 64GB inbuilt storage and powered by a 3120mAh battery.
