Vivo may unveil three models of the Vivo NEX on June 12, here are expected features and prices
Vivo NEX is the latest upcoming smartphone of Vivo. Since few days several leaks have been informing about the device’s possible features and specifications. Now, the latest hands-on image of the device has given people the first look of the device. The images informed about its decent look and the video has given a clear light about its design. Apart from this, some more leaks have revealed about the pricing of the Vivo NEX and NEX S.
However, the credibility of these leaks is not sure, but sources added that the company would officially launch the device very soon. As per the report the device will be launched in China on 12th June at around 7:30 pm CST. The device will be the mass production model of recently launching Vivo Apex. It is also expected that there will be three new models of Vivo NEX, i.e., NEX, NEX A and NEX S.
As per the leaked hands-on video, the device will come with a glass construction which will feel silky and slippery. There will be the bezel-less display on the Vivo NEX. The device may not come with 100% screen-to-body ratio as the hands-on video shows at the bottom the device has the small chin. The screen-to-body ration will be 91 percent. Some major highlights things of the device are half-screen fingerprint scanner and the elevating selfie camera.
Among the three model, one model will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor; another model will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and the processor type for the third model is still unknown.
About the price, the price for the model carrying the Snapdragon 710 processor will be CNY 3.798, around Rs. 40,000 in India. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC model will be priced at CNY 4498, for Indian market it will be around Rs. 47,300. Some other leaks have suggested that the premium variant will come with quite a high price tag, i.e., CNY 6998, around Rs. 73,200. There is no price detail about the third model, i.e., the Vivo NEX A. The leaked pricing strategy is somehow little close to the Vivo X21 UD smartphone. If all the information is true, then the new smartphone will give though competition to Honor 10 and OnePlus 6.
Now talking about its features and specifications, the Vivo NEX S may come with a large 6.59-inch Full HD+ display. The resolution will be 2316 x 1080-pixel. Under the hood, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Octa-Core Cortex-A75 processor and will offer a clock speed of 2.2GHz. With an 8GB RAM, it may offer 128 GB of internal memory. The premium model, i.e., the Vivo NEX is expected to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. There will be an 8GB of RAM, and the internal memory is 256 GB. There will also be the micro SD slot to expand the memory capacity. A massive 4000mAh battery will back both the device.
The devices will carry a dual camera configuration. One sensor will carry a 12 MP lens and the second sensor includes a 5MP lens. The camera features phase-detection autofocus, bokeh mode, panorama, and HDR mode photography. The users will get more interesting features in the devices. Of course, there will be a pop-up front facing the camera. The camera will pop-up whenever users turn on the selfie mode.
In other features, the high-end model will support under-display fingerprint scanner technology. The NEX S, on the other side, carries a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. All the device will run on Android Oreo version 8.1 along with Fun Touch OS 4.0. All are waiting for the launch event.
