Vivo launches Vivo Y81 in Vietnam: Here are the price and specifications
The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched its new smartphone named the Vivo Y81. As per the report, the device is currently available in the Southeast Asian country, Vietnam. The new Vivo Y81 carries same design that the Vivo Y83 has, and there is a notch on the top of the display like iPhone X. It comes with a bezel-less design. The device has some interesting specifications. It is currently listed on the FPTShope and carries a price tag of VND 4,990,000, around Rs. 15,000. Nashville Chatter Class first detected this. As per the information mentioned on the online retailer website, the device is eligible for free national delivery in 60 minutes and bundled with a 1-year warranty. It may be noted that a few days ago, the Vivo Y81 was spotted on Europe, Thailand, and Malaysia certification websites.
Now talking about the details of the device, the Vivo Y81 has a large 6.2-inch HD+ IPS display. With 16:9 aspect ratio, it offers 720 x 1520 pixels of screen resolution. A Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display. The thickness of the device is7.77mm and has 3D curved edge. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek MT6762 Octa-Core processor and provides 2.0Ghz of clock speed. Along with this, to offer better and smooth gaming performance, it has an IMG GE8320 GPU processor. There is a 3GB RAM, and it provides 32GB of internal storage capacity. The storage capacity can be increased further up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Coming to its optics, the Vivo Y81 has a single rear camera setup which carries a 13-megapixel camera sensor. A LED flash supports the camera, and the aperture is f/2.2. On the front side, users will get a 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. The camera is powered AI Face Beauty technology. Powered by 3260mAh battery and runs on FunTouch OS 4.0 and Android Oreo 8.1. Under the connectivity option, it has 4G LTE VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 of 2.4GHz, GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The size of the device is 155.06×75.0x7.77mm and weighs around 146.5 grams.
Recently, Vivo launched the Vivo Y83 in India on 1st June 2018. This device also has some same specifications. The Vivo Y83 also has the same 6.22-inch HD+ display. The aspect ratio is 16:9 and supports 1520 x 720 pixels of resolution. Like the Vivo Y81, it also has a 13MP camera on the rear side which supports HDR mode, professional mode, face beauty, time-lapse, slow, panorama, PPT, PDAF, live photos and more. But on the front, it has an 8MP camera.
The Vivo Y83 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 processor which offers 2GHz of clock speed. There is only one variant of the device which comes with a 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The battery capacity is 3260mAh, and it runs on Android Oreo version 8.1 and FunTouch OS 4.0 UI.
