The new year has officially begun, which means that the technology market is gearing up for launches of newer, more advanced smartphones. Japanese smartphone manufacturer, Sony is reportedly working towards the launch of a new smartphone called Xperia XZ1. The company brought its predecessor back in August 2016. Since then, they have been working towards renewing the line-up and have finally brought about a thinner and more comfortable version of it. The latest smartphone is specifically targeted towards users who are looking towards getting the most from their devices especially in terms of gaming, music, and media.
According to an online publication, Sony has attempted at retaining the boxy mold, rectangular design with the Xperia XZ1 smartphone. This comes across as a disappointment especially because Sony fans have been awaiting a change in terms of design since long.
The only difference in terms of design is the infinite loop structure that Sony added recently. The device manufacturer even managed to extend the top and the bottom portion of the handset. Other than that, there have been no changes in term of design. The smartphone continues to retain a bezel-heavy rear panel. On the display front, the Sony Xperia XZ1 packs a considerably smaller 5.2-inch full HD HDR display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. On the connectivity front, the smartphone features a SIM and microSD card slate. Other functions including the volume button, dedicated camera button, and the power button are situated on the right-hand side of the device.
Apart from this, the smartphone goes on to carry a dual front-facing set of cameras. Apart from this, the handset also packs an S-Force surround technology for an enhanced audio experience. The device further packs fifty percent increased sound pressure. Those who plan on watching videos and listening to audio will surely have a great time doing so.
The smartphone goes on to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip. On the storage front, the smartphone features 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of inbuilt memory. Camera wise, the handset packs a 13-megapixel front-facing camera along with 19-megapixel primary camera.
