Samsung fans don’t have a lot of waiting time for this year’s Galaxy line-up. If all falls into place then the smartphones are expected to be launched within a month from today. However, this hasn’t stopped rumors, leaks, and speculations regarding the handset from showing up online. Recently, an alleged picture of the device’s packaging showed up online. The packaging pretty much revealed all the given details of the upcoming smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus full packaging leaked

According to a report published by The Daily Mail, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphones will be launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year. The packaging images, which were posted on Reddit, reveal full specifications of both – the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphones.

The box suggests that the Galaxy S9 will sport a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display, with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and 12-megapixel rear camera. Apart from this, the box also goes on to add that the handset will sport a ‘super slow motion’ feature that will allow users to shoot slow-motion videos even at 1,000 fps.

The South Korean technology giant still hasn’t confirmed the above-given news as yet. There is no word on the pricing front for both the smartphones either. However, an expert predicts that it might be somewhere $190 more expensive than its predecessor. The Galaxy S8 smartphone was launched for about $850.

“The announcement was made by DJ Koh, president of Samsung’s mobile business, during a press briefing at CES yesterday,” notes The Daily Mail. “Details of the retail price and date are also expected to be revealed at MWC,” the report further adds. Samsung last year, launched its Galaxy S8 smartphone at a special Unpacked Event which was held in March in New York. They began selling the handset in April. However, the firm wants to fast-track the procedure this time and is unveiling the Galaxy S9 smartphone roughly a year earlier.
