Samsung is poised to unveil its Galaxy S24 series later this month. While we’ve encountered numerous speculations regarding the phones’ specifications and release date, we now have our initial glimpse of what appears to be an official promotional poster for the ultra-premium Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
As per reports from X user @sondesix (via SamMobile), Samsung has already started showcasing promotional materials for the S24 Ultra in its Brazilian stores, featuring an image that seemingly reveals the phone’s rear design, accompanied by the slogan: “Galaxy AI is here.”
The model showcased in the poster appears to be the Titanium variant of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, aligning with previous information on Samsung Galaxy S24 color options. The poster confirms the presence of a quad-camera setup for Samsung’s upcoming flagship, along with a color-coordinated S Pen stylus, antenna line, and two microphones.
Notably, Samsung kiosks and retailers in Brazil have already unveiled the primary marketing materials for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, where the slogan is displayed in English as “Galaxy AI✨ is here.”
Leaks surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 camera suggest that this quad-camera configuration will consist of a 200MP primary lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and two telephoto cameras (50MP and 10MP, respectively). Additionally, a laser autofocus unit is visible on the phone’s rear panel, resembling a ‘fifth’ camera lens.
The S24 Ultra is widely anticipated to feature a titanium design similar to the iPhone 15 Pro. In contrast, the other two models in Samsung’s upcoming lineup, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus, are expected to retain aluminum frames. Therefore, the Ultra variant is expected to offer superior durability.
The S24 Ultra is rumored to have a flat-edged screen, a departure from the curved-edged displays seen in previous Ultra models since the Samsung Galaxy S20. However, this change in display design does not appear to affect the phone’s thickness compared to its predecessor.
In terms of internal specifications, the S24 Ultra is expected to offer options of either 256GB or 512GB of storage, combined with 12GB of RAM. The battery capacity is expected to be 5,000mAh, and the S24 Ultra will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s AI-focused Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
AI features are expected to be a highlight of the Ultra model, given the tagline “Galaxy AI is here” and Samsung’s new proprietary AI model, Samsung Gauss. These AI-powered capabilities may provide the S24 Ultra with a competitive advantage over Apple’s recently released iPhone Pro Max.
As we approach the rumored January 17 release date for the Galaxy S24 series, we will continue to monitor leaks and updates, so stay tuned to TechRadar for the latest information on what could potentially be three of this year’s top-tier smartphones.
