Samsung Galaxy J8 captured a good sale
Last month Samsung introduced its new smartphone the Samsung Galaxy J8. During that time Samsung had announced that the device would be out in India around July. Now the company has announced that official release date of the device. As per the report, the Samsung J7 will be released on 28th July in India. After just three days, customers can buy the device. This is a very something event as the smartphone becoming available before the previously anticipated release data. The key features of the device will be its 18.5:9 Super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity Display and Android Oreo version 8.0 OS.
Samsung Mobile India also took it to twitter to announce the release of the device. Samsung Mobile India posted “Give the ‘Infinity Touch’ to your picture’s background with the #BackgroundBlurShape of the new 16+5MP #DualRearCamera on #GalaxyJ8. Only three days to go for the big launch. Stay tuned.” The company adds an image which shows the bokeh effect of the device. As per the report, the users can reshape the camera background bluer with different shapes like suns, butterflies, hearts, stars and user’s name. It looks very interesting. The Samsung Galaxy J8 has Face Unlock object and scene detection like AI features.
Unfortunately, there will be only one variant of the Galaxy J8 in Indian market which will come with a 4GB RAM and offer 64 GB of internal storage capacity. This variant is priced at Rs. 18,990. The smartphone will be purchasable in three different colour options, i.e., Blue, Black, and Gold. Samsung has not informed about from where it can be purchased. One thing is sure that users can get this from the Samsung India e-store.
Now talking about the features and specifications of the device, the Samsung Galaxy J8 has a 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display. With 18.5:9 aspect ratio it supports 720 x 1480 pixels of screen resolution. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-Core Cortex-A53 processor which clocked at 1.8GHz. As mentioned above, the device has a 4GB RAM and users will get a 64GB internal storage facility which can be expanded further up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 based Samsung Experience.
Coming to it optics, the device comes equipped with dual rear camera configuration on the rear side. It offers a16MP and a 5MP sensor. The secondary sensor supports depth-of-field effects. A LED Flash supports the rear camera. There will be a 16MP camera on the front side. The front camera supports f/1.9 aperture. The front camera is also assisted by a LED Flash to offer better selfies. The uses can alter the exposer amount while taking selfies in different light condition.
Under the connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy J8 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mma audio jack. As per the report, the device has a unique feature called Chat over Video. Using this feature user can chat on WhatsApp, messenger, etc. and also can watch videos at the same time. Samsung’s Indian R&D team develops this feature.
