Netflix is undoubtedly one of the most popular online video-streaming platforms of the century. What’s more? Its popularity just seems to be getting wider by the day. Therefore, it doesn’t come across as a surprise that an increasing number of technology giants are constantly working towards a way to provide a more-quality type of Netflix experience.

On the similar effort, Razer recently-launched smartphone “gamers,” is going to be the first to offer both HDR 10 and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 support. In other words, individuals will now be able to have a better viewing experience than they probably get on their screens.

According to a report published by BGR, the smartphone manufacturer made the announcement as a part of its latest CES line-up. The company was quick to join in their Razer smartphone with Dolby 5.1 certification, especially for Netflix. “We engineered the Razer Phone to handle HDR video and sound like no other phone on the market,” Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, and CEO said in a press release.

“We are incredibly excited to deliver Netflix entertainment on a smartphone like never before, enabling us to take the full measure of the Razer Phone’s HDR10-enabled display and dual-firing, front-facing Dolby-optimized speakers and THX-certified headphone connectivity.”

The company has been putting in a lot of effort into its Razer Phone to become an ideal choice for individuals who like to carry out activities out on the smartphone. The company also plans on launching the smartphone’s audio soon enough. This is surely a wake-up call for technology giants like Apple and Samsung as they still haven’t been able to make this integration as yet. Razer made announcements regarding a slew of other products as well – which includes their new features and accessories.
