Pixel Fold Ad Leaked Just Hours Before Google I/O Event

Published on May 10, 2023

Only hours before Google I/O, one more leaked video of the Pixel Fold was released. Through the promo video shared by the leaker SnoopyTech, Google exhibited the slimness of their foldable and how it can stand on a table while watching videos.

The advertisement gives viewers a glimpse of what using the device for multitasking could look like. The video demonstrates a user with a video call in one window, and Google Drive in another, being able to move files from one screen to the other.

It’s clear that the Pixel Fold has a limitation to it when it comes to multitasking, as indicated by the small print at the bottom of the screen that reads, “Dual Screen support coming in Fall 2023.” However, the exact details of this are unknown.

It seems like the Pixel Fold promotional video has not been the only leak so far today as YouTube has since set a promo video to private featuring sports stars and the comedian Druski using the device. In addition to this device, Google is anticipated to introduce the Pixel Tablet and Pixel 7A at the Google I/O keynote starting at 1PM ET today.
