With the debut of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, we now have a fresh contender for our top smart rings list. However, the leading name in this space, Oura, has an upgrade on the horizon, and we’ve just had our first look at the Oura Ring 4.

This information originates from Android Authority and is based on certification documents essential for the device’s sale. The included images show that Oura is maintaining its signature flat and smooth design.

From our hands-on experience with the Samsung Galaxy Ring, it features a slightly concave shape. In contrast, the Oura Ring 4 shows no signs of this and no visible protrusions, suggesting it will retain a sleek, minimalistic appearance.

Although detailed information about the Oura Ring 4 is scarce, it appears it will come in various sizes and finishes, similar to the current model. With certification in progress, the launch likely isn’t far off.
