Game developer Square Enix is expected to launch the PS4-exclusive, action-fighter-themed game called Dissidia Final Fantasy NT sometime in 2018. The game will initially roll out in North American and European markets. The exact release date has not been revealed as of yet. There’s some good news for the fans of the game.

The game developer plans on providing players with the opportunity to try out the three-on-three arcade fighter game. According to Gamespot, Square Enix made an announcement suggesting that they plan on holding an open beta for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT before its official launch.

The beta is scheduled to begin on January 12. The open beta program will go on until January 21. The Dissidia Final Fantasy NT beta is limited to PS4 owners in North America and Europe only. Gamers, therefore, will require a PS Plus subscription to enjoy the open beta. The game developer hasn’t provided any details on what precisely the public beta is going to consist. There isn’t a specific time provided by Square Enix either. The publisher, however, has stated that additional details on the game will be provided as for when the beta date approaches closer.

As far as the official Dissidia Final Fantasy NT game is concerned, the game is supposed to feature about 28 characters at the time of the launch. These characters belong to many instalments throughout the Final Fantasy series.

The game developer even launched the trailer for the highly-anticipated, upcoming game. The trailer showcases the complete roster, expected to arrive at the process. The character line-up includes heroes like Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, Noctics from Final Fantasy XV and Ace from Final Fantasy Type-O. Furthermore, the game goes on to feature seven other classical Final Fantasy Summons. Players are given the liberty to call anyone from the Final Fantasy Summons during an on-going battle.
