OnePlus announced the ‘Star Wars’ edition of OnePlus 5T

The company has announced the much-awaited Star Wars edition of OnePlus’s newly launched OnePlus 5T. The final release date of this limited edition is still covered, but it is expected to be at the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie which is scheduled to be released in December.

The new Star Wars edition will come in limited quantity and is also known as the limited edition. This limited edition configures white in cover, red is for the slider button and a brand logo of Star Wars at the lower back of the handset. The device will also carry a OnePlus logo just below the camera, unlike the standard OnePlus 5T.

It is easy to predict that the smartphone will come with some pre-loaded themes and ringtone of Star Wars. The limited edition seems to get exhausted with a single say sale itself. A report from TechPP states that this limited Star Wars edition will be exclusive for Indian buyers. The report also projects that the release will be on December 16, at an event in Mumbai.

The limited edition will carry the same hardware as that of a standard variant, i.e., a 6-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a protective 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass, an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor along with a 2.45GHz processor.

Other Softwares of the device will also remain same as it will even run on Android 7.1.1. Nougat with OxygenOS 4.7. As for the recall, the display of OnePlus 5T also supports sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts.

As we all know that OnePlus 5T is in high demand these days with the addition of Face Unlock at the same price of the previous flagship of OnePlus 5. As reported by some critics the face unlock of OnePlus 5T is much faster than the super premium phone iPhone X. Now, this Star Wars edition will be the one which will bounce the sales of OnePlus 5T again.
