OnePlus 6 specifications may have been revealed
All eyes are on Chinese technology giant OnePlus as it prepares for the launch of its next flagship OnePlus 6. Reports have noted that OnePlus often scores most of its designs from Oppo. Take, for example, their 2017 flagship smartphone, i.e., OnePlus 5T. The firm’s flagship offering was similar to Oppo R11s.
The Chinese technology giant recently took the wraps off Oppo R15. It appears that the firm may have unknowingly laid the groundwork for OnePlus six smartphone. In addition to this, Vivo’s recent X21 UD launch also reveals a few details about the upcoming OnePlus 6 smartphone. It appears that the Chinese technology giant might be planning on adding an under-the-display fingerprint scanning feature in its next-generation handset.
Numerous reports suggested that the OnePlus six smartphone might carry an Apple iPhone X-like notch along with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device might feature a 6.28-inch OLED full HD Plus display with 1,080 x 2,280 pixels resolution. Earlier this month, it was reported that the handset might witness an upgrade regarding the storage. As many might already be aware, OnePlus falls under the umbrella of BBK Electronics.
Other companies that come under the BBK Electronics umbrella are OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo. Most of these smartphones carry similar designs, especially regarding appearance. As per leaked images, the device will power by an octa-core MediaTek Helio system-on-chip. However, this particular speculation might not end up turning out to be true as OnePlus has already confirmed that they plan on housing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip.
The Oppo R15 comes with a parallel dual camera system on the back. It ships with Color OS 5.0, which is the basis on Android 8.1. The pricing details and the launch date has not been finalized as yet.
