“As I walked, a man said hi to me and complimented my looks. I said thank you and kept walking. He wasn’t going to give up so easily. He started following me in creep mode. He brazenly put his arm around me, chatting me up. I stepped into the street to get away from him and snipped, ‘Hands off the hardware.’ He apologized and explained that he was ‘just trying to get to know me.’ I flashed my ring at him to show him I’m married. I’d prefer if the first rebuff worked, rather than the threat of angry husband.”
