Iconic in the knife world, Benchmade has set standards of quality for the production knife. You will pay to get this quality on some models but you will not be disappointed once you take possession of a Benchmade blade. It gives instant pride of ownership and you will want more. Fit and finish are comparable to the worlds best and the designs are innovative, durable, and serviceable in role. They press forward will new, cool, functional designs that will quickly win fans all over the world. In this Nutnfancy 2010 SHOT Show Booth review we touch base with Benchmade and look at their new designs, talk about their philosophies, the ever-important weight issue. While the pricing on the ultra-cool carbon fiber CPM M4 steel Griptilian 550BK-101 takes my breath away, I quickly regain composure and my infatuation with things Benchmade when I see the wicked Bob Lum, axis-lock 741 Onslaught blade. It is a full sized combat folder of the highest quality, wearing G10 scales and a perfectly swept 154CM blade. Expect a review for sure (and no its not 3.8 ounces!). The tour continues with first looks at the 790 Subrosa, 8600 Bedlam, the Bone Collector knives, the 110/11 Water Knives, some new BM Rescue cutters, the new 172 Tomahawk (hey thats a plane too!), some Benchmade auto knives, H&K blade updates, the Marc Lee Glory knife, and some others. Of course like many booths at SHOT 2010, the lighting really sucked so I do my best under the circumstances to show these cool blades. It was fun visit to all things Benchmade in 2010 and they were great hosts (and big supporters of TNP as well with TNP Giveaway participation). The video ends with a trip down memory lane of past Nutnfancy Benchmade reviews! /////////////////Music: Derek Audette
