Nokia X6 global variant gets the NCC certification, may launch soon in the global market
HMD Global has released an important update for its Nokia X6 smartphone. The new update has brought some unique feature for the users. As per the report, the new update will enable users to hide the notch of the display. If the user can’t tolerate the notch design. The new update will enable an option to hide important apps in the device. Apart from that, it brings some bug fixes and system enhancements. Now the users can swipe left to delete for SMS and will feel extra smooth UI improvement. It may be noted that Nokia X6 is HMD Global first device which carries iPhone X like a notch.
The device carries the model number TA-1099 and is only available in China. The device has received huge popularity in China. Now, a recent report has stated that the global variant of Nokia X6 has got its certification in Taiwan. So, it is expected that the device will be soon released globally. As per the report, the Nokia X6, with the model number TA-1103 has got the National Communication Commission (NCC) in Taiwan. The device is also spotted on the Website of a Bluetooth certification website.
Coming to its features and specifications, Nokia X6 has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display. With 19:9 aspect ratio and notch at the top, it offers 2280 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution. It comes with a glass body structure and looks very stunning and stylish. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Class 3. Under the hood, the device carries the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-Core processor, and it clocked at 1.8GHz. Apart from this, for faster GPU rendering it has an Adreno 509 GPU.
The device offers two different RAM and internal storage configurations. In one configuration, users will get a 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In another configuration, there will be 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. As there is micro SD card slot, the storage capacity can be increased up to 256GB using a micro SD card. On its rear side, there is a dual camera configuration and offers a 16MP and 5MP camera. The secondary camera features a monochrome lens, and the aperture is f/2.2. The rear camera built with AI technology and supports phase detection autofocus. On the front side, the users will get a 16MP camera. Users will get bothie features and can take photos utilizing both front and rear cameras.
A 3060mAh battery backs the Nokia 6X and features Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The company claims that battery can be charged up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. For security, it has face unlock option and fingerprint scanner on the rear side. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
