Nokia X smartphone spotted online!

HMD Global-backed Nokia smartphone manufacturer made a splendid come back in the market back in 2017. The device developer went on to introduce numerous new smartphones — not one. Moreover, their decision was further perfected as they decided to bring the classic feature phone, Nokia 3310 back. Now, a new report claims that HMD Global — the start-up that licenses the Nokia-brand, is reportedly planning on launching an all-new Nokia X smartphone in China on April 27. A recent report that comes from Gizmo China goes on to claim that some people have reportedly spotted digital hoardings in a mall in China that feature an unannounced smartphone in the market. The advertisement showcases two smartphones that end up crossing against each other in the form that represents the letter, ‘X.’ The smartphone manufacturer’s latest decision comes across as a big surprise.

The news is especially true as HMD Global only recently took the wraps their latest lineup, including the Nokia 1, Nokia (2018), Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 8810 4G smartphone at the recent Mobile World Congress that wrapped up in Barcelona earlier in February. However, there were no press invite leaks for the upcoming smartphone. Apart from this, there wasn’t any hint of what the company’s social media accounts went on to claim. There was no mention of the Nokia X smartphone at the recent HMD Global event, which was held in Delhi, Mumbai. In fact, no one was even aware of what one could expect from the upcoming Nokia X smartphone. As of today, it appears that the Nokia X smartphone will go on to launch on April 27. However, there is no official confirmation of the same available as yet.

Essential details about the upcoming smartphone are not available as of yet. However, the newer specifications and features of the next-generation Nokia X. The smartphone is called Nokia 10. “But based on the leaked advertisement, it appears that the Nokia X will have a 2.5D curved display and a metal body,” notes an online report. It is challenging to guess whether the Nokia X smartphone will be a mid-end or a high-end smartphone. As can be recalled, the original Nokia X smartphone was introduced at the Mobile World Congress back in 2014. The event took place in Barcelona. 

The news is especially true as HMD Global only recently received the wraps their latest lineup, including the Nokia 1, Nokia (2018), Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 8810 4G smartphone at the recent Mobile World Congress that wrapped up in Barcelona earlier in February. Meanwhile, Lenovo-backed Motorola smartphone manufacturer is reportedly planning on introducing its next-generation Moto G6 lineup sometime next week. Rumors about the upcoming device are already emerging online. The list includes three smartphones, i.e., Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus as well as Moto G6 Play. The company will reportedly take the wraps off the lineup at an event in Brazil on April 19. Ahead of their official launch, all the three smartphones have been subject to numerous leaks.

Notably, it was the first Nokia-branded handset that ran on Google’s Android mobile operating system. The smartphone had been targeted toward the entry-level segment. The device went on to run the Nokia X platform. For those who aren’t aware, the Nokia X platform is a forked version of the Android operating system. Readers are advised to note that it does not end up including the Google Play store integration. The same aspect ran against the Nokia X smartphone. The handset went on to include a significant feature. The feature was commercially as well as critically acclaimed in the market.
