Nokia 6 with 4GB RAM, 3000mAh battery launched

After numerous leaks and speculations, HMD Global-backed Nokia has finally launched its Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone in the market. The handset serves as the successor to last year’s mid-ranger delight. The firm unveiled the handset in an event, which was held in China. They haven’t provided any details regarding the global roll-out as of yet. The smartphones are expected to go on sale elsewhere next month or so. Their prices are as follows:

Both the smartphones are available in two primary color variants, i.e. White and Silver. As far as the specifications are concerned, the smartphone features a 16:9 aspect ratio and display size of 5.5-inch with IPS technology and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 system-on-chip, clocked at 2.2GHz. On the storage front, the smartphone offers 4GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable by nature.

Camera wise, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF lens along with f/2.0 aperture. This is further complemented by an 8-megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens. The smartphone is further supported by the proprietary dual-sight technology, which allows individuals to capture simultaneous shots from the rear and front cameras in order to create what is popularly described as a “Boothie.”  In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has FM radio, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.

According to a report published by Gadgets 360, the smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery support for Fast Charging technology. The handset is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo directly out of the box. In terms of measurement, the handset packs 148.8×75.8×8.6mm and weigh 172 grams.
