Mi Pad 4 will support face unlock; there will be no fingerprint sensor: Report
A few days back some rumors revealed that Xiaomi would soon launch it two new devices, i.e., Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 and the Redmi 6 Pro in China. After that, it came to know that both the devices will be launched on 25th June. Then some leaked information informed about the specification and features of the device. Now, Xiaomi has officially launched a teaser poster on Weibo, a Chinese social media site.
The newly posted teaser has revealed that the Mi Pad 4 tablet will come with Face Unlock technology and users can easily unlock the device by just looking at the device. With this feature, the Mi Pad 4 will be the first Mi Pad to carry the Face Unlock technology. Apart from that the teaser poster also clearly shows that the Mi Pad 4 will not support Fingerprint sensor on the device as the device doesn’t have any physical fingerprint scanner. So, only through the face unlock feature the device will unlock. To offer better accuracy, the front camera is powered by the Artificial Intelligence technology.
The famous tipster Slashleaks has given information about the specification and price of the device. As per Slashleaks gave the information, the device will come with a large 8-inch display. The aspect ratio is quite unusual as it has a 16:10 display aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The device will come with two storage option. There will be a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant and a 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant which will be priced at 1499 Yuan, around Rs. 15,600 and 1999 Yuan, approximately Rs. 20,800 for the Indian market.
Recently, Xiaomi posted a teaser poster of the device o Weibo and confirmed the release date for this. The company also has confirmed that the screen size will be 8-inch. Donovan Sung, Xiaomi’s global spokesperson, informed that the device would be packed with content. He also posted about this on Facebook. As per the teaser image, the upcoming Mi Pad 4 will come with a single camera.
A massive 6,000mAh battery will back it. Under the rear side, there is a single camera setup which consists of a 13MP OmniVision OV13855 primary sensor and the aperture will be f/2.0. On the front side, users will get a 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 sensor, and it has f/2.0 aperture. The latest leak also informed that there are very thin bezels. It will function on Android 8.1 based latest MIUI 10 ROM.
On the other side, an advertisement of the Mi Pad 4 also has spotted on Weibo. It clearly shows the design of the tablet, its 8-inch screen with 16:10 aspect ratio. The tablet will come in two models. One will support Wi-Fi, and another one will support LTE. Now all are waiting for the day when Xiaomi will introduce the Mi Pad 4 and reveal the real specification of the device.
