Lenovo Yoga 920 Review

Published on October 5, 2018

Lenovo Yoga 920 can become your next choice if you use the laptop for several hours a day. The developers have kept the machine functional just like the company’s flagship laptop 910. They even fixed the shortcomings to provide you a better experience with an excellent battery life.

What is New?

Lenovo comes with Intel’s eight-gen Core i-series processors. You will get a 1.8GHZ Core i7-8550U or a 1.6GHz Core i5-8250U. Display with slim bezels, all-metal chassis along with 360-degree hinge watchband, makes Lenovo Yoga 920 a top-notch laptop. Although it is thick, you can fit it inside almost every spacious laptop bag.

At first, you will find it pretty similar to 910. However, there are significant improvements, which have been made this time. Lenovo has shifted the webcam below and moved back the camera to its right place.

You can find far-field mics to use Microsoft’s digital assistant or Cortana away from 13 meters. Moreover, the laptop’s keyboard has also gone through some changes.

In the 920 version there is a full set of integrated arrow keys. And, you will no longer see the full-size shift key on the right side. The functioning of a backlit keyboard is impressive according to the thinness of the machine.

You can see multi-touch gestures that you can adjust to Window settings. Also, with the help of the fingerprint reader, you can quickly sign in to Window Hello.

The machine comes with two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports. It boasts 40Gbps data transfer, fast charging, and two high-resolution external displays. Plus, you will get mic/headphone jack along with a standard USB 3.0 port. Lenovo Yoga 920 has an active pen. You can use it on full HD or 4K-resolution display and it supports 4,096 sensitivity levels.

Final Verdict

Lenovo Yoga 920 makes a stylish laptop that offers some top-notch features.
