Published on March 20, 2018

Huawei is expected to launch three of its flagship smartphones at an event on March 27. If reports are believed to be true, then the company will be seen beginning P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro smartphones. Now, a recent leak has provided the complete list of alleged specifications expected to arrive with the handset.

As carefully put by The Mobile Indian, the P20 Pro is Huawei’s new muscle device with high-end specs and three rear-facing cameras powered by Leica optics. The Leica optics consists of three sensors, i.e., 40MP sensor, a 20MP (monochrome) sensor and an 8MP (telephoto) sensor. Furthermore, the 5X magnification feature will also be available with the camera system, along with zooming capabilities of 40MP and 8MP each. The firm describes the camera system to come with ‘Hybrid Zoom’ capabilities. The aperture on the cameras ranges from f/1.6 to f/2.4. The device’s front camera system will pack a whopping 24-megapixel sensor.

As far as other specifications are concerned, the device will sport a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,240 pixels resolution along with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

The screen does not consist of the standard notch that most Android players seem to be opting for as such. However, the handset will pack a fingerprint scanning option on the front panel, right below the bottom bezel. The smartphone will power a home-grown Kirin 970 chipset under the hood, which reportedly includes a Neural Processing Unit with Artificial Intelligence technology. On the storage front, the smartphone will add a 6GB RAM along with 128GB of native storage. Some markets will offer a variant of 256GB of storage. The smartphone is home to a 4,000mAH battery with IP67 certification rating.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone will include Bluetooth 4.2, supports NFC and works on 28 LTE bands. The expected price in Europe is €899 (USD 1,110).
