The Katana is notoriously famous around the world. While it is no doubts a fearsome weapon and extremely lethal in the hands of the practiced master, how dangerous is it really when wielded by a total newbie?
Can a total amateur cut a “human leg” equivalent (Tatami Omote)?
Can a crude home made “sword” (sharpened flat steel) cut an Omote mat?
