Huawei sales 6 million units of the P20 Series smartphones, more to come

Huawei launched its three new smartphones named Huawei P20, P20 Lite and P20 Pro in March globally. All these devices are the successor for Huawei P10 family. These devices are not getting huge popularity among the users. As per the report, Huawei has shipped six million units o Huawei P20 Series. During the CES Asia 2018, Huawei further stated that it would ship 150 million smartphones across the world in the current year. If compare with the shipment of Huawei P10 series o last year, the shipment of Huawei P20 Series has gone up by 81percent.

The latest series smartphones carry some interesting features like Full-View display, Cameras with AI technology, Leica co-engineered optics for cameras and more. Among the three model, the P20 Pro is the camera monster which carries a triple rear camera. Less than just three months, it managed to sell six million units of P20 Series. This sale figure comes forth after the Huawei P20 Lite and P20 Pro launched in India. Both the devices can be purchased through Amazon India. The Huawei P20 Lite carries a price tag of Rs. 19,999 and the price of the Huawei P20 Pro are Rs. 64,999.

Kevin Ho, President of Huawei Handset Product Line, stated that this sales performance of the Huawei P20 Series show that the company understand the markets, and show Huawei’s commitment to innovation and R&D.

All the devices have Google ARCroe and Huawei Share 2.0. With these, the data transfer speed between the PCs and smartphone can go up to 96Mbps. The devices have Huawei Health app and support TruSleep and TruScreen heart rate technology. Users will also get AR stickers feature. All the P20 Series smartphones run EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Talking about the features and specification of the Huawei P20 Lite, it comes with the 5.84-inch full-HD+ FullView display. With a 19:9 aspect ratio it offers 1080×2280 pixels of screen resolution. Under the hood, it has a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset. With 4GB of RAM, users will get 64GB of internal storage. The device has a 16MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front side, users will get a 24MP camera. A 3000mAh battery backs the device.

On the other hand, the Huawei P20 Pro carries a 6.1-inch full-HD+ OLED Full-View display. The resolution is 1080 x 2240-pixel. The display features 1:1,000,000 contrast ratio. Under the hood, it has a HiSilicon Kirin 970 2.36GHz Cortex A73 + 1.8GHz Cortex A53processor. With 6GB of RAM, it provides 128 GB of Internal Storage capacity.

The device has a 40+20+8MP triple primary Lecia camera configuration. AI powers the camera. On the front side, it has a 24MP camera. It supports 3D Portrait Lighting feature and 960 fps Super Slow Video mode. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery and features Huawei Fast-Charge technology.
