If you install DD-WRT on your router, you can boost your wireless signal by more than 30-50%. I shot this video while upgrading my Linksys E4200 to DD-WRT and boosting my transmit power (boosts your wifi signals) and indeed it worked really well, now getting great signals outside my house.
