Honor View 10 vs OnePlus 5T: Battle of the flagships
OnePlus introduced its OnePlus 5T late last year. It is safe to state that the smartphone beat most other competitors in the market. However, their victory over others might be short-lived as Honor is gearing up for the release of Honor View smartphone tomorrow. Honor’s primary objective with View smartphone is to steal the “flagship killer” crown that essentially belongs to OnePlus.
As noted by India Today, the Honor View 10 smartphone consists of a sleek design coupled with the hottest trend of 2017 – a bezel-less front panel, which is considered to be enough to steal OnePlus’ thunder. The handset also packs high-end specifications. The competition between OnePlus 5T and Honor View 10 is a tough one, especially when it comes to its design. Both the handsets pack premium and classy designs.
They are constructed through the use of metal and go on to pack minimum bezels on the front panel. Given that both the smartphones pack a dual rear camera system, it seems like both are the same models. Another similarity between the two smartphones is their stereo speakers. Both the handsets offer certain user-centric features like alert slides and IR blasters.
On the display front, the Honor V10 and OnePlus 5T pack an 18:9 aspect ratio. While, the OnePlus 5T device sports a 6.01-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, the Honor View 10 packs a 5.99-inch LCD panel technology. The OnePlus 5T smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip, the Honor View 10 features the Kirin 970 processor – both of which are equally good.
However, the Kirin 970 processor comes with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that pumps artificial intelligence which is enough to give extra brownie points to Honor View 10. Price-wise, the Honor View 10 is considerably cheaper than OnePlus 5T. Does this mean that Honor will be successful at stealing OnePlus’ crown in the market? Only time will tell.
