Here us what we know about the newly launched Nokia 3.1
According to HMD Global, the company is now rapidly expanding the portfolio of the Nokia phones. The company is soon announced about close to a dozen new Nokia Phones in the year 2018. Some of the expected new smartphones of Nokia are Nokia 1, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. On Thursday, Nokia has brought the Nokia 3.1 and it the price was fixed at Rs 10,449.
The new Nokia 3 will be bringing an updated design which includes an HD+ display and have an aspect ratio of about 18:9. The phone will be equipped with MediaTek 6750 chipsets, and it is an updated version.
Nokia 3.1 will now come with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Most of the phone makers have now stopped offering a 16GB storage as an option in the Rs 10,000 segment. Nokia 3.1 will be competing with Asus, Xiaomi, and Motorola and this will be an exciting competition in this segment.
HMD Global already said that all the new Nokia phones would be the part of the Google’s Android One Program. This shows that it will have a stock Android software and it is secure and up to date on all the security patches. Android One phones will come with monthly security patches for the next three years along with some significant Android updates for the next two years.
Nokia 3.1 will be running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. At just Rs 10,449, this will be the cheapest Android One Phone in the Indian smartphone market. The users prefer to the Android One as they are close to the stock and provides like Pixel-like Android things. The smartphone will not come with any pre-loaded apps or any custom skin on top. It gives a smooth experience with current monthly updates and makes the device most secure Android device. It also provides unlimited google photos storage to the users.
In Nokia 3.1, the smartphone has got a camera of about 13 MP autofocus sensor along with f/2.0 and with a LED flash. The selfie camera will have an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone has got a battery capacity of about 2,2990mAh. The other features of the smartphone are it will support VolTE, Wi=Fi, GLONASS, GPS, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has got a processor of octa-core MediaTek MT6750N which was clocked at 1.5GHz and will have two variants, i.e. 2GB+16GB storage and 3GB+32GB storage.
