U.S. Marines with Company E, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, are inserted by a MV-22 Osprey aircraft on Ie Shima Island, near Okinawa, Japan. Company E is the helicopter assault element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and specializes in sea and land-based vertical assaults borne by helicopter and tilt-rotor aircraft.
