You might not be aware of the fabric issue which Google’s Home Mini was creating but yesterday at Googles’s software preview program; the company rolls out the new update with which Home Mini will again get the play an pause button back but not on the top. The play and pause button will now be present on either side of the speakers.

Google Home Mini was planned to a functionality of play and pause at the top which was then removed by the company after recording an issue of continually recording users. Now the play and pause button are back on Google Home Mini, but instead of the top portion, it is available at the top the feature will be available on the sides of the Home Mini.

Now one can give a long press and hold to increase or decrease volume in all the cases like to play or pause and to increase or decrease the volume too. It is expected that the update will soon come for all, the Home Mini owners. The latest update suggests that Google couldn’t get around the fabric issue of the Home Mini speakers. The new feature of long hold and press is not that much convenient than the tap option which was planned for the Home Mini devices.

A few days back it was also in news that Google’s Home Mini speaker is giving a problem of sudden crashing while being played at maximum volume. The company stated on this by saying that the problem is not universal as we have also tested a unit at our place and that was working fine, still as the request is in bulk the company will be launching a fix for that. Google is also running from its lousy time as each of its device is creating functionality issues like the newly launched smartphones Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
