Google Pixel 3a, specs leaked ahead of tomorrow’s announcement!
A day ahead of Google I/O, here we have some leaks on the most anticipated budget smartphones in the segment of Pixel smartphones. This is the first time when the world’s biggest search engine company Google organised a hardware event, and the point of focus in the game would be the upcoming Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL. The two smartphones are the one which was covered from past few months.
A day before the launch of the smartphone, a trusted or reliable leakster Roland Quandt a.k.a. @rquandr posted a translated specs sheet on Twitter which reveals the confirmed specs and features of the upcoming smartphone Pixel 3a. The small one named Google Pixel 3a is in high buzz, as it is expected to come under medium price range to get fit in everyone’s budget.

The smaller variant is just like a welcome offer for the new consumers of Google Pixel devices. Google Pixel 3a will carry a 5.6-inch display, as confirmed by the retail package information graph. Now the specs and features are all clear which indicates that the smartphone will take a Full HD+ (1080p) resolution along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The display will also be the OLED one.
A 3,000 mAh battery along with Snapdragon 670 CPU will endeavour the performance. An SoC paired with 4GB of RAM will serve high-end performance. Apart from the specs, the hardware of the mobile will carry a polycarbonate built body to cost cut the actual price of the smartphone.
The optics is the part where the device seems to be an interesting one. The primary camera with 12.2 MP sensor with dual pixel autofocus and 1.4 microns sized pixel will make the shots more clear. A lens aperture of f/1,8 will be the only same part as Google’s previous launch of Google Pixel 3. The secondary or selfie camera is also the same one with 8MP of the camera lens and f/2.0 as the aperture of the glass.
There is no side camera just like the previous Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The video recording feature might be limited upto 4k with 30 frames per second for the rear camera while for the front camera it would be 1080p @30fps. An additional feature of Active Edge could be present in the smartphone; the feature allows you to squeeze the sides of the smartphone to summon Google Assistant.
A 3.5mm headphone jack, 5GHz Wi-Fi ac support, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC would be the other add-ons in the smartphone. To reduce the costing in comparison to Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL, the smartphone will carry a low-cost CPU and materials. When it comes to the price tag, the Google Pixel 3a is expected to be priced at $399, which seems to be a fair price for the features which Google is offering with this new addition in the Pixel mobile series.
