It appears like many it is a season filled with flaws, as far as the technology market is concerned. As noted by Gadgets 360, Google Pixel 2 XL is apparently experiencing a problem relating to their volume functionality. Due to this particular issue, the smartphone’s volume automatically changes.
Furthermore, the sound level of the audio clip is being sent through messaging applications such as Google Allo, Instagram, and Telegram among others. The search giant has already acknowledged this problem. The company further went on to say that they are working on the fix for the same. The latest problems with Pixel 2 takes place straight after users complained of a connectivity flaw with regards to the same.
Pixel 2 XL owners who are currently experiencing this problem, have taken to the official Pixel User Community on Google Product Forums, to speak about it. As per what is described by the users, whenever they send audio clips through any of the chatting applications, there is a problem occurring with the same.
The recipient receives the same clip but at a minimal volume. The sound level on the receiving device cannot be increased even when the individual turns to volume to maximum or when the user makes use of headphones. Some of the users have complained about this issue on Google’s official forum as well. “I experienced the unusually low volume for outgoing voice messages in WhatsApp on two Pixel 2 XLs. The same behavior was observed with Google Allo voice messages,” one of the users posted on the official website.
The problem seems to be taking place with Pixel 2 XL units that are running on the latest Android 8.0 and Android 8.1 Oreo operating systems. It still remains to be seen exactly what will take place. The company hasn’t confirmed whether this problem is solvable through the means of an update.
