Discounted Google Pixel XL available on Amazon

The holiday season might be over but the discounts are still going on. Google’s 2016 flagship smartphone Pixel XL (128GB variant) is currently available for a discount on the e-commerce platform, Amazon. The search giant introduced the handset back in October 2016 for a starting price of Rs. 76,000.

Roughly a year later, the smartphone is available for a price of Rs. 39,999 on Amazon. In other words, you must not lose the chance of getting your hands on Pixel XL which comes at a discount of Rs 36,000. Get an additional discount on the offer by exchanging your older device with Amazon.

According to a report published by Tech Radar, Google launched the Pixel brand in 2016. With this, the company forayed into the smartphone sector, taking on bigger smartphone giants such as Apple and Samsung with their flagship line-ups, iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 respectively. Google was successful at establishing a stronghold in the smartphone market with the introduction of its Pixel brand. The search giant majorly focused on the device’s camera specifications and took a giant leap into the image quality as well as the overall experience of the smartphone users.

As far as the specifications of Google Pixel XL are concerned, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch QUAD HD AMOLED display, perfected by a glass/aluminum design. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 system-on-chip.

On the storage front, the smartphone offers 4GB of RAM along with 128GB of inbuilt memory.  As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone packs a 12.3 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, gyro EIS, laser and Phase Detection Auto Focus along with a dual LED flash. The rear camera can record 4K videos and it also supports slow-motion recording up to 240fps at a resolution of 720p. The phone comes with an 8MP camera on the front.
