Destiny 2’s ‘The Dawning’ glitch won’t be fixed until next year

Destiny 2 fans are awaiting the arrival of the gaming title’s seasonal debut, ‘The Dawning’ for weeks now. Counter-part for ‘The Dawning’ called, ‘The Mayhem Mode’ has already made its debut for a limited period. Unfortunately for its fans, the latest update consists of a glitch, which is seriously hampering with the gamer’s experience. Game developer Bungie has acknowledged the issue. They further went on to state that the problem cannot possibly be resolved before the event’s conclusion.

According to a report by Gamespot, the Mayhem mode of Destiny 2 is crucial for most users. This mode empowers the players with unusual abilities. It further goes on to regenerate Super skills faster than usual. Since so many factors have already been included in the game, it leads to a somewhat chaotic experience.

Therefore, this mode has been given the name, ‘The Mayhem.’ Players only recently discovered that they could access unlimited Super abilities through the use of the Void Walker and sub-class. ‘The Dawning’ update was thus, eagerly awaited by Destiny 2 players. However, since the update comes along with a glitch, it is not possible for users to take complete advantage of these uses. As mentioned previously, Bungie has already acknowledged the existence of this problem.

They described it as being, “an issue currently impacting the Void walker subclass for Warlocks.” According to them, the problem can only be resolved after the ‘The Dawning’ event ends. The event is scheduled to run through until January 9.

“As teams continue to investigate an issue impacting the cooldown for the Voidwalker Super ability within the Mayhem playlist, we have determined that the issue will not be addressed before the Dawning ends in 2018,” Bungie announced on Twitter. “We will provide additional information once available.”
