Camera app reveals names of future Nokia smartphones

HMD Global back in 2017 launched a new range of smartphones, which consisted of both mid-range and high-end products. The list consisted of Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3, Nokia 8, Nokia 7 and Nokia 2.

The Finnish technology giant is rumored to be preparing for the launch of two of its other innovations for 2018 – Nokia 9 and Nokia 6. As noted by Gizbot, only two smartphones scheduled to be introduced by Nokia, are known till now. However, that does not necessarily mean that Nokia won’t be introducing any more smartphones in the future.

The Nokia Camera app has apparently revealed names of future Nokia smartphones, scheduled to release this year. A Chinse publication called ITHome via GizmoChina, claims that the APK version of the official Nokia Camera app consists of a list of smartphones that are supported by it. The list consists of the devices that have already been launched.

There are also many unknown, yet-to-announced names, which have been assumed to be Nokia’s future introductions. The Nokia Camera app has revealed names of three new smartphones: Nokia 4, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1. We already know that the company plans on introducing Nokia 1 as its first Android One-supported handset in March this year. However, we haven’t heard the introductions of Nokia 4 and 7 Plus as of yet. Details regarding these smartphones are yet to be unveiled by the company.

Leading rumors and speculations have suggested that the Nokia 9 and Nokia 6 (2018) smartphones are scheduled to be unveiled on January 19, 2018. These devices will fall in the high-end category and each will end up being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip. Apart from this, it has also been revealed that Nokia 10 is scheduled to launch in August with the same processor as well.
