Burnout Paradise is finally coming to Xbox One, PS4 this year

Published on January 7, 2018

Burnout Paradise has been a fan favorite since the time it was launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. However, that’s the problem with the game, i.e. it is only exclusive to those two platforms. However, a new rumor suggests that the company might be planning on introducing an Xbox One and PS4 version of it sometime this year.

Burnout Paradise is finally coming to Xbox One, PS4 this year.

According to a report published by Daily Star, a listing of the game showed up on a Japan-based retail website. As per the posting, it is safe to assume that the game will be available in a retail-only capacity on the PS4 platform from March 16 onwards. The leak further showcases the game as taking the “HD Remaster” moniker in the title.

It is pretty interesting to consider it as the game has already been launched in HD for both, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. If the leaks turn out to be true then it is highly likely that the upcoming versions of the game will feature newer graphics options. Game developer EA still hasn’t made an official comment on the matter. Additional information regarding the same is expected to arrive soon.

This is not the first time that the game has been spotted in the form of a listing. Sometime last year, a Brazil-based retail website carried EA’s famed racing game. Even then, it was suggested that the title will be launched in 2018.

“Burnout Paradise Remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was spotted in a Brazilian retailer’s listing, according to Brazilian site GamePress, and was listed with a date of March 1, 2018,” the Daily Star reports. It remains to be seen what ends up turning out to be true. Potential pricing details of the game haven’t been revealed as of yet.
