The bomber slugs are some of the wackiest-looking slugs that Tim has sent us to shoot. They were machined out of aluminum and steel on a CNC lathe. I asked Tim how much his company would charge a knuckle-head like me if I brought this design to them to make a few prototypes. With the cost of programming, time on the expensive machinery, and the costs of materials he said it would cost $220 each to make. (custom machine work is very expensive).
We loaded these into modified Federal target load shells and shot from a Mossberg 590 12ga shotgun.
Tim has his own Youtube channel and I invite you to join the discussion and see his latest creations and test shots.
He is going to have a give-away for one of these expensive slugs soon, so be sure to get in on that. You’ll enjoy his videos.
