Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 high-end variant spotted on Flipkart with coming soon timeline

Challenging the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, a few months ago Asus launched the ZenFone Max Pro M1. It carries specification that will give stiff competition to the Redmi Note 5 Pro and also carries attractive price tags. During the launch of the device, Asus announced that there will be three variant of this smartphone and will come with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, and 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM options. But only the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage models were available to purchase. Now, as per the new report, the 6GB variant has arrived at the Indian market, and it was spotted on the Flipkart.  The page confirms that soon the device will be available for sale as it shows coming soon.

The page has also informed about the major features and specification of the device. With 6GB RAM, the device offers better cameras than the other two variants. Coming to the smartphone description, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has a 5.99-inch FHD + Full-View IPS LCD screen. With an 18:9 screen aspect ratio, it offers 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. There is a 2nd generation NXP Amplifier and a 5-magnet Speakers which offer high-quality sound.

Under the hood, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile chipset Kryo Octa-Core processor which clocked at 1.8GH. There is an Adreno 509 GPU for better gaming performance. With this variant, the device is now available with three variants as mentioned above. The storage capacity can be increased further up to 2TB using a microSD card, and there is also dedicated slot for the microSD card. 

Coming to its optic section, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 has a dual camera setup on the rear side which consists a 16MP and a 5MP camera with a LED flash. The rear camera supports ten beauty mode effects, HDR, Landscape mode, Bokeh effect and more. On the front side, the users will get an upgraded 16MP camera which will be supported by a LED flash.   

The smartphone supports 360-degree Face unlock technology and fingerprint sensor technology. Backed by a 5000mAh battery, it runs o Android Oreo 8.1.  Under the connectivity, it has 4G LTE VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou.  The Sensors include an accelerometer, e-compass, proximity, ambient light sensor and gyroscope sensors. The face unlocks feature in the device will be unlocked after the Over-The-Air (OTA) update.

Talking about the price, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1’s 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs. 10,999, and the 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage variant carries a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The Flipkart page still shows the coming soon timeline which doesn’t show the price of the device.  However, the company has revealed the price of the device. As per the sources, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 will come with a price tag of Rs. 14,999 which is quite lower than the price of the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
