Apple may offer triple lenses on its iPhone X Plus model: Report
Huawei recently launched its triple-camera smartphone named Huawei P20 Pro. It is the first triple camera smartphone in the world. The device has managed to acquire good popularity among the users across the world. It is not clear that which smartphone company will introduce the second triple -camera device. However, a recent report has stated that Apple can be the one who will introduce the iPhone X Plus carrying triple camera configuration.
As per the recent report, Apple will soon unveil its three iPhone variants in 2018. There will also be a budget iPhone model. This will carry a large 6.1-inch non-OLED display and will not support 3D Touch technology. Another variant will be the upgraded version of Apple iPhone X and come with an OLED display. iPhone X Plus is expected to be a premium device and will have a 6.5-inch OLED display. The schematics of the 6.1-inch model and the 6.5-inch iPhone model have spotted online. The pictures have given an idea about the dimensions and also information about some major features that Apple may implement in the devices.
One of the most amazing thing about the upcoming Apple iPhone X Plus will be this triple rear camera setup. Apart from that a large 6.5-inch display. As per the leaked images, the camera sensors are arranged vertically. That means the device can generate good phots. There is no data about the types of lenses that will Apple provide in this. But it is expected that there will be a primary, telephoto, and a monochrome lens just like the Huawei P20 Pro has. On the other side, it is also expected that the image can be wrong. There may include two lenses and a flash in the middle of the lenses.
As per the sources, the 5.8-inch variant will come with two vertically arranged camera on the rear side just like iPhone X. So, if Apple is planning for triple lenses, it can only be on the Plus variant. The dimensions of the 6.5-inch model, i.e., iPhone X Plus will be around 157.2 x 77.1mm. This is quite lower than iPhone 8 Plus with a 5.5-inch display. Its dimension is 158.7 x 78. 1mm. Talking about the 6.1-inch budget iPhone, the picture shows about 147.12×71.52mm dimensions. The size is quite similar to iPhone X which has a 5.8-inch display and measures 143.6×70.9mm. The budget iPhone variant will have a single rear camera setup and will also have a notch. On the budget iPhone, there will be the first-generation Face ID technology and the 5.8-inch model and 6.5-inch model will carry the second-generation Face ID technology.
Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most reputed Apple analyst, currently working with TF International Securities has stated that Apple may reduce the cost of the umping iPhone models by around $300, approximately Rs.20,300. Talking about the expected prices, the 6.1-inch iPhone variant may be priced in between around $600, Rs. 40,300 approximately to $700, Rs. 47,00 appx. The 5.8-inch OLED model of iPhone will be priced at between $800, around Rs. 53,700 to $900, around Rs. 60,400. The price of premium 6.5-inch OLED model may start from $900, approximately Rs. 60,400 and can range up to $1,00, around Rs. 67,100
About the battery capacity, all the new iPhone X model will carry large batteries. The devices will support USB-C fast charging technology and may support dual-SIM. This will be something very interesting. According to sources, Apple can use aggressive pricing policy because of enhancements in the production profit and lower price of the components.
