Switch fans have long been waiting for the highly-anticipated emulator from the side of Yuzu team. With the launch of this emulator, the Switch owners would have to say goodbye to a lot of problems. Rumors and speculations regarding the same have been taking the rounds, however, none of them really revealed any specific date or additional details regarding the same.

Moreover, the lack of confirmation from the side of the Yuzu team didn’t help the case either. The gamers were left in a helpless situation, wherein they knew that the emulator was very well on its way, they didn’t know exactly when the launch would take place. Thanks to the tweet made by Yuzu team over the weekend, we now know when the emulator will be first hitting the store.

According to a report published by PC Gamer, “The team behind popular 3DS emulator Citra have announced an emulator for the Nintendo Switch called Yuzu, just 10 months after the console first hit stores.”

The Yuzu is actually the first emulator for Nintendo’s hybrid gaming console Switch, which is known to do all the things that you actually didn’t need to. Here is what their exact tweet looked like, “Announcing Yuzu, the first Nintendo Switch emulator that does all of the things you didn’t need it to do! Stay tuned for more from the Yuzu team!”

As further noted by PC Gamer, one of the most popular games in the market, i.e. ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,’ was already playable with an emulator as Nintendo had released it with their Wii U gaming console back in 2016 itself. At the same time, there are many other incredible gaming titles including ‘Super Mario Odyssey,’ and others that still require some form of emulator assistance.

Judging on the basis of how easy it is to use the Citra emulator, the development team’s upcoming Yuzu work will be great as well.
