Since 2009, Yuwa School has changed the lives of thousands of girls in Jharkhand, India, and empowered many of them to speak up for themselves on the world stage. After learning about illiteracy rates among girls in the area, founder Franz Gastler worked tirelessly to create this non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of at-risk girls through sport, community, and technology. Almost a decade later, the school is working to grow and spread change on an even larger scale.
