Yes, it is true that Facebook is no longer official with the number of teens

New research center found a new study that tells that just 51 percent of Americans from 13 to 17-years-old say they use Facebook. This has resulted from 2015. The same type of teens which were highly involved in Facebook are now use Instagram (72 percent) and Snapchat (69 percent) to connect online. And yes, if we talk about the teens who are online constantly? About 45 percent of teens are online on both snapchat and Instagram constantly.

Instagram

The most used online platform for teens is the youtube, with almost 85 percent of American teens saying that they frequently use video sharing site. But today Instagram and Snapchat are the biggest winners who are traditionally understood as social media services like Facebook. Exactly three years ago, The Pew found that 41 percent of the teen used Snapchat and 52 percent of teens used Instagram, whereas the only percent of American teens report having a Twitter account.

Since Pew’s 2015 poll the significant number of teens who report being online “almost constantly” jumped significantly there. It was found in the surveys that 45 percent of teens say they’re online almost constantly who were both on smartphones and computers are compared with just 24 percent who said the same thing in 2015. Also, around 44 percent reported being online “several times a day” in the most recent study. Yes, it is true that 56 percent of teens reported that they were online several times a day, this was the answer received back in 2015.

If we will be out of the surveys that into which social media platforms teens use the most frequently here, you will found Facebook as a big loser, similarly, snapchat is known as the winner in the race because it really has 35 percent of American teens who say that we use snapchat more than Facebook and yes also with Youtube with more than 32 percent. Facebook, which was the most interesting social networking path was now often disgraced by the teens; teens also said that Facebook is the platform which we use more often.

We also found the most exciting thing in the surveys by Pew study that Facebook is the platform used by the teens or kids who came from the lower income groups(house), Facebook is the most popular path among these kids. If we talk about the stats, therefore teens who come from the household that makes less than $30,000 per year are the most likely to use Facebook also with 70 percent reporting that they use the platform. When it comes to the household that makes $30,000 to $75,000 it was just 56 percent and rests for teens living in a family that makes over $75,000, only 36 percent report using Facebook.

Okay! If we talk about the stats of Instagram, Instagram is a social network which is used by a high number of teens whether from rich or poor, everyone there has an Instagram account this is just because smartphone ownership has become incredibly common across the board. Around 95 percent of American teenagers have a smartphone, with only slight differences based on family income. But for the teen’s whose family earns $75000 therefore then the number jumps to 97 percent and therefore for families that make less than $30,000 per year with 93 percent of teens have a smartphone but identical to the percentage from teens who come from families that make $30,000 to $75,000.

Around 45 percent of teens were agnostic about its impact saying that it was neither positive nor negative, this was when the teens were questioned about the social media in general? Around 24 percent of the teens replied that social media was mostly negative whereas about 31 percent said that social media was generally positive, now comes to the teens who said negative that was just because 27 percent cited bullying and rumor spreading.

But, if we go back with the teens who said social media as positive around 40 percent said that it was a great way to connect with friends, family, colleagues, etc. For a considerable number of people, it is hard to imagine today’s dominant social media platforms disappearing, the teens who know that it doesn’t take long for things to go south, therefore, those of us who used to have a MySpace account. If we talk about Facebook, It was called as the most dominant social media platform in the world, but it will not take much time to change its behavior or routine within people. It will be stopped if younger generations will decide to stop using it. Teens think that Facebook is not more than their worth time only when this latest poll is any indications.
