This is the Yamaha Niken. “Ni” means two in Japanese. The motorcycle has two front wheels instead of one. It was shown off at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.

Yamaha compares it to skiing in their promo video.

The Niken is a leaning multi-wheeler. It tries to match the same feel as a two-wheeler while maintaining high-speed turning stability. So Niken will feel stable even when making sharp turns.

It’s powered by a liquid-cooled, in-line, 3-cylinder engine.

For now, the Niken is just a concept bike. More details are expected to be announced later.
